Tuesday ride with the Old Gits. 27

Tuesday today which is Old Gits day, and this week we are doing the original route, Banwell, Winscombe and Sandford with an additional couple of miles out through Webbington.

The meeting place was by the Texas Express at the Maitlands in Weston.  14 members had signed up for todays ride in the warm sunshine. Not all were at the start promptly, they will be marked as late in the register and there are two more to be picked up in Banwell.  Thanks to Steve for taking these pictures.

Man and machine in perfect harmony!

Steve took this one as well before we set off. Quite an easy ride with the electric bike now. The fairly steep hills at Banwell, Christon and Loxton are no real challenge and taking that extended route added a couple of miles to the day.   Tea and cake outside at Caffles and back to Weston on one of the hottest days of the year so far, 86 Degrees when I got back home after 27 miles
