Down to the Pier and back 2

A different day to yesterday.  No snow and it's one degree warmer.  Still that North wind though to blow in the face when walking down the prom.

The Grand Pier

The focal point for all the tourists that come to Weston tis is  almost exactly a mile from where I live, an ideal marker when going out for a walk.  It also helps That there are a few cafes on the route and 5 chip shops within 100 yards of the pier entrance.  Had to capture that sky as well.

Chips

As it was lunchtime it would be a sin not to partake in some of the wares that the nearby chip shops were offering.  Chose one with outside seats, sheltered from the wind, and purchased a fish cake and chips nicely presented in a polystyrene tray.  I know how to live the high life.  Dare not leave it on the table for too long or the marauding gulls would be after it.  Once that was polished off, walked back along the prom stopping for a cup of tea at the Victorian Cafe on the sea front.  Don't know why but the Strava app. stopped recording at this point.

Although the GPS said 1.2 miles it was actually just over 2 miles today.  Honest!
