Around the Tropicana. 1

A lot of snow overnight, about 2 inches,  (a lot for us in the SW of the UK) which disappeared as fast as it came.  It had just about gone by 2pm although the north wind was fairly brisk and brought the temperature down from 1 degree to three below.  Took a little jaunt down the promenade directly into the teeth of the wind and despite lots of warm layers on needed a cup of tea and a sit in the warm by the time I reached the Tropicana.  The Bay Cafe was open so went in to be told it was closed, "Because of the snow'.
"What snow?" I said pointing and looking outside.
"Well it has been bad" she said "so we are closing early".  This was going to be a one sided conversation ending in nowhere so I thanked her politely and left (I had warmed up a bit by now).
Walked around the Tropicana onto the beach and walked back with the wind behind me which was much better.

Windsurfers?

Yes.  They were out in this lot.  I suppose the sea is considerably warmer than the air temperature but the wind chill of the northerly wind must have made it very uncomfortable.

That was a bit of exercise I suppose, 1.2 miles, has to be done.
