To Lympsham before it gets dark. 10

A bit stuck for time today with Christmas duties getting in the way.  Managed to get the bike out about 1445, mindful that lighting up time was rapidly approaching.  The weather wasn't too bad, a stiff South westerly wind, a glimmer of sunlight and no rain with drying roads.  That'll do.  Went down as far as Lympsham on the A370 but the light was fading and although I would get home before the official lighting up time, always a bit wary about riding in poor light, despite wearing fluorescent top and displaying a flashing rear LED light.  Better safe than sorry.  The ride was fairly uneventful, nothing out of the ordinary to report, no photos to display, just another 10 miles to add to the years total.  Still striving to achieve a target despite covering 5,000 miles since Jan 1st.  The initial aim was to 'do' 100 a week which by my reckoning is 5,200 in a year. At the moment the total stands at 5,163 so there is still 37 miles to go.  It is the 21st today (the shortest day - hoorah) so that short distance should be eminently achievable despite, Christmas getting  in the way.
