Out with the Old Gits, for a bit at least. 25

Struggled with a bit of a knee problem overnight but seemed OK this morning.  As the Old Gits were doing a route that takes in the steepest hills we encounter, decided to break away from them at Banwell and mooch about on the flat bits before joining up with them at Caffles for refreshments.  I did try to find them after the hills but failed.  The main group did have their own problems with road closures and went further than normal which reinforced the decision to leave them to it.  Reached the coffee shop about two minutes before they did so perfect timing. Weather wise it was almost warm and no rain today.
No pictures taken and covered 25 miles.  Not out for a couple of days now so hoping that will take care of the knee.
