Weston Town plus a hill

Went out this afternoon to catch up one of the Old Gits who has not been very well lately.  Went along the prom and up into the older Victorian part of Weston.  The weather was not too bad, a bit windy but the sun was trying to shine through.

Where have they all gone?

What a difference 24 hours make.  This time yesterday there was wall to wall visitors down the prom, especially on the area around the Grand Pier.  Of course, it was a Bank Holiday and the sun was out and very warm.  They are all back at work today leaving the place to the locals.  Had some quality time with the Old Git and made my way back home through Grove Park and the town.

4.1 miles today, bolstered up by a cake and a glass of squash with Les.
