Should have told the world, Weston super Mare is full. No more room. Not surprising, a bank holiday, it is nice and warm, a slight breeze and the sun is shining. Had a day off yesterday as the legs were a bit tired but stretched out today. Did a little 2.5 miles on Friday which wasn't mentioned on here.
Jam Packed
The view from my balcony at 1100 today. There were so many cars coming in the car parking area had to be extended to cater for the extra. Brean Down to the left of the picture, the uninhabited island called Steep Holm right of centre.
Uphill Beacon
Looking west from the top of the hill at Uphill across the Severn Estuary. Middle distance is Brean Down, right is the roofless church and far distance is Wales.
Bargain!
Seen near the Marina Cafe at Uphill. Nice to see someone has a sense of humour. A little bit overpriced at a penny under a grand but you never know........
Clarence Park
To make up the mileage a bit, extended the walk part of the way down the prom and back through a nearby public area called Clarence Park. Well stocked with visitors today.
Look at that sky. Perfect. Covered 4.5 miles today, enjoyed that one.
