Reverse Route with Old Gits 27

It was like a summers day out there!  Well nearly.  Met up with the Old Gits CC and we did a 'reverse' route of the normal one.  With a warmish wind from the south, it was certainly was a pleasure to be out today.  In fact, we all commented at the coffee stop how the fact that the wood burner hadn't been didn't bother us.

Meeting up

Today is 'Reverse Route' day which means a later start and meeting at Knighstone Island at the North of the Promenade.  11 started, to be joined by one other later, and we went to Kewstoke, Sand Bay, Wick St Lawrence and coffee at Hewish.  The return was through Puxton, East Rolstone (very messy roads), Banwell and Locking.  There were no incidents of note to report and the rain which had been forecast did not materialise until after we had all got back home.

27 miles today.  Strava says 25.5 but I didn't turn it on until the meeting point!
