A bit of a milestone today. Expanded a little on the normal Turnham circuit by cycling out to West Ham, a small hamlet near Wedmore. The milestone is, riding on the Peugeot which I bought for £20 in May 2014 (and spent another £80 doing it up), by the end of the day, had clocked up 5,000 miles on the old bike. Apart from a tyre blowout some months ago, it has been trouble free cycling requiring minimum maintenance. Must drop a line to the old boy it was purchased from, he does like to be kept informed as to how it is doing.
An uneventful ride, 35 miles but no photographs to show for it unfortunately.
