Wrington Wreversed 30

Another nice day, waited for the afternoon when the sun was out and decided to cycle around to Wrington, but this time in the opposite direction.  Started and finished along the busy promenade and went anticlockwise through Banwell, Churchill and Wrington and back on part of the Strawberry Line through Puxton.

Help for Heroes

Opposite the Weston Helicopter Museum on the A371 is an old artillery bunker built to protect the nearby wartime Weston airfield.  This has now been revamped in the colours of the Help the Heroes charity (for injured  military personell).  I like the cat painted at the bottom left.

Churchill Village Shop

Took a detour off the main road and went into Churchill village centre. Not a great deal there, a sleepy little village, but the post office/shop has character and the church is unusual. (wait till next time I go through again for that.)

Strawberry Line

A pleasure to ride down this disused railway line today.  A perfect summers day.

A nice 30 miler clocked up.
