Out with Old Gits 23

It's Tuesday so must be Old Gits Day.  Met up as normal and did the usual trip around Banwell, Winscombe and Puxton. There were 11 starters today, one of the highest for quite some time.  The weather was good which was a bonus. Started off a bit chilly but ended with blue skies.

More Mistletoe

Quite a lot of mistletoe seen around these parts and this tree, in Puxton, seems to have more than its fair share of this parasitic plant. Please note as well, the clear blue sky. A treat to be out today.

Checking all is well.

Every so often, the group stops for a regroup and checks that all starters are present. Here they are in Puxton village near to the leaning church.  This is the last stop before the cafe at the garden centre in Hewish.   The trees in the garden behind the group are also very much covered in mistletoe.

Spring is near

All the way round today's route I was looking out for spring flowers to photograph. Could not see anything suitable until about 30 yards from my front door, these daffodils were screaming at me, "Spring is nearly here".

A very pleasant ride in good company. The usual 23 miles clocked up.
