The Community Artist
Done this one before, but worth doing again. This is on the Tachbrook Road in Leamington and the lady there makes 'sculptures' out of recycled stuff like cds and plastic bottles. Actually that is not all, checking out the blog advertised, the lady does some good work and teaches in the community including courses for people with disabilities. There is currently an exhibition in the garden today if you are passing.
The fair's in town
Must be carnival time. The fair does the rounds of the towns locally when the carnival is on. Must have been Leamington's turn yesterday as this is in the Pump Room Gardens.
Project Peugot update
Cant get this right yet. Something horribly wrong with the back wheel, after several road tests, the brakes are fine, the gears work well although they do need to be a lot lower ratio, far too high for me. The rear wheel bearings do need sorting out so the plan is to consider buying a new wheel with gears that are more suited to my tired old legs.
Thanks for the tea Chris. Didn't rain much on the way back. Did 16 today which takes the week up to 103 miles. Job done.
