11th June 2014 Locks Lope 12

No sign of the road bike back from the menders so will have to use the mountain bike instead. Good weather again so will go over the bridle paths from home  to the cafe at Hatton locks then down into Warwick and home.

                 Bridle path Wedgenock

Another one for the 'Four Seasons' project. This is on the bridle path that leads from Kenilworth Castle to the old Central Hospital at Hatton.

Hatton Locks Cafe

A nice watering hole this one, especially on warm sunny days. Resisted the temptation to go for a big piece of cake, just the pot of tea will do today.

New Bridge Woodloes

The old footbridge that leads from Millers Road Warwick to the Woodloes has been replaced. This is the sparkly new one. I waited for the barge to leave the lock to get a bit more interest into the shot.

This was the same view in March

An easy 12+ miles today apart from some overgrown stinging nettles on the towpath!
