20th November 2013 Leamington Loop

"No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing." Wise words from an old friend of mine. Certainly true today. Went out this afternoon, after the midday rain and as the sun came out. Managed a couple of photos then the heavens opened up. Not good rain either, really cold in a bit of a stiff wind. at 4C, it seemed a lot colder. As a trip is planned tomorrow with Graham, not going far today, just the usual amble through Warwick and Leamington via Newbold Comyn.

The Lord Nelson pub.

This is on the Emscote Road at Warwick. The previous landlord was a friend of mine but he unfortunately died in 2011. His family, and some of the regulars, have donated towards this magnificent chair which has been placed just outside the front of the premises with a little plaque on it. RIP Micky Brown.

Autumn Leaves

Spotted these trees earlier in the day, then, they had bright blue sky behind them, accentuating the bright colours.  When the time came for this photo, it was later on in the day and the light not so bright. Never mind, at last, captured some autumn foliage. Seen on the Myton Road at Leamington. 10 minutes later, the rain came down so lucky to get this shot.

Despite the rain, arrived home nice and dry so the wet weather gear worked fine. 13 miles today.
