Lovely ride out today. Nice spring morning, clear blue sky and a cold eagerly wind to spoil it all! Went out with a friend, Graham, for a longer than usual spin.
Walton Hall Drive
Went out through Warwick and Barford and on the Kineton Road out of Wellesbourne turned onto the Walton Hall Estate. This picture is taken on the back drive looking towards Walton Village.
Walton Hall Main entrance
One of the pillars at the entrance to Walton Hall. This is now a hotel with the stable block converted into time share apartments. The house itself was built in 1862 and stands in magnificent grounds. Watch this space for future pics.
A good ride today, just over 30 miles. Just wish this cold wind would go away and give Spring a chance to come in.
