Old Gits go to Burnham on Sea. 23

First Tuesday in the month, it is Burnham time.  The weather forecast was really iffy today with showers, heavy at times, so it was debatable as to whether we would get to sit outside in Apex Park.  As it turned out, 15 riders, plus a guest on a tandem, turned out and we only saw the briefest of showers, very light, on the way back.  Just in case, I did carry my rucksack with all the appropriate wet weather gear in.

I don't know why, but the cattle in the nature reserve at Uphill decided to congregate on the tarmac path but they shifted after a bit.  I learnt at a pub quiz the other night that cattle are colour blind and the 'red rag to a bull' is a myth.  Good job really with all that bright orange zooming about.

And we arrived at 'Lizzie's Kitchen all in one piece. One OG who had missed us earlier also turned up so it was all present and accounted for. The bread pudding was, once again, the speciality of the days we were all fed and watered, had a pleasant sit down outside before heading back to Weston and stopping at the egg farm on the way.

Another good ride with the 'lads'.  Covered 23.5 miles today and never got wet.
