Classic Car Show
A frequent event on the Beach Lawns at Weston enthusiasts bring some fine old cars along for the public to wander amongst freely. This is just a small sample of those to drool over. In the main they were from the 60s to 80s with a smattering of vintage cars and some more modern 'hot rods'. This was only half a mile from home so best get cracking. At Churchill, took the A38 south (although more than the normal flow of traffic on there) for a couple miles before turning right to Winscombe.
What is the date?
Had to get this one. Seen in Uphill village, someone is going to be surprised when they come to use the car today. Thought there might be some subtle witticism written on the post-it notes but they were all blank.
Enjoyed that ride this morning. 30 miles covered took the week up to 140 so after three months nicely ahead of target. Enough miles spare to have a couple of weeks off, as if!
