The Old Gits usual excursion plus a bit more. 31

Luckily, the bad weather from the weekend has receded, the snow has gone, the wind has calmed down, and the temperature is rising, slowly.  It was still a bit nippy first thing, and when the ten of us met up, we decided that going the full route over Banwell Hill might be not the best way to go as some of the lanes do get very mucky and after the weather we have just had, may be impassable.  Turned left instead of right at Banwell and arrived at Caffles almost 45 minutes ahead of our normal time.   After tea and toast it was an easy ride back to Weston but as the mileage was down on the normal, I opted to head south to Lympsham and do an extra circuit around Uphill Nature Reserve.  That worked out well and pushed the mileage for today up to just over 31.
No photos today unfortunately.
