Old Gits, singing in the rain. 21

Old Gits day.  Met at Royal Sands for the monthly trip to Burnham on Sea.  12 started out, and 12 made it back without any real mishaps.

Reeds Hotel

The forecasters did not quite get it right this morning.  It was supposed to stop raining at 9.  It did ease off for a bit but came back with the drizzly rain/mist that seems to soak everything more than a downpour.  At Burnham, called in at the Reeds Hotel, a Wetherspoons pub, on the sea front.  Bacon roll and free coffee refills £2.65, a bargain.  The unattended bacon roll in the centre is mine. Such trust there must be in fellow Old Gits  to leave it alone whilst taking this photo.  Called in for some eggs at a farm shop on the way back and in Accommodation Road, just before the A370, we were treated to the sight of a mature red deer leaping across the road just in front of us.

Clocked up 21 miles today.
