Puxton Prowl 20

Sunday morning ride, will try a bit of hill training.  Went over Bleadon Hill and found a bridal path that led back down towards Weston.  Bit of a windy old day again, certainly was hard work on the way back heading into a strong westerly wind.

Evans Sportive

Reaching the top of Bleadon Hill, a wind assisted climb to be honest, met this chap setting up a feeding station for riders in a Evans Cycles sportive.  The route they would be taking is seriously hilly, straddling the Mendips several times and this station at the 45 mile mark will be welcome.

Off the beaten track

A bit further along from the summit, there is a bridle path that runs over towards Banwell.   Thought this was worth a look and at times it was like riding into Narnia or Hobbiton.  It leads in several directions so well worth a look in the future.

20 miles to add on to the 105 already done this week.
