Burnham on Sea Saunter 31

Another windy day.  Got caught up in the Olympic cycling and rowing plus waiting for the Villa score today (They won 3-0. About time) meant didn't get on the road till late.  Did the usual circuit via Bleadon to Mark, across to Turnham for a cuppa, and back through the nature reserve at Uphill.

Road Closed!

Caused by natural means this time.  Going back through the Uphill Nature Reserve, these store cattle tried to block the road. They don't scare me, I worked on a farm.  They soon moved at the approach of an athlete with agricultural experience. In the distance, on the hill is Uphill Old Church of St Nicholas.  First on this site in 1080 and has been built on and renovated. Now partially derelict, the roofed portion is still used occasionally for services.

31 miles today.
