Burnham on Sea Saunter 22

Late decision to have a ride out today. Busy all morning with choosing, buying and planting out some bedding plants but by 4pm it was time to have a spin out and get some miles in. Did the usual route down to Burnham on Sea but for a change, did the reverse route.  Could not resist a cuppa tea and an energy bar at the Bay View Cafe.

Letter Box

I do  like letter boxes.  Always on the lookout for something a bit different, this one is in a side street in Weston. The insignia on it is ER VII,  erected in the reign of Edward the Eighth 1901 to 1910. He was Queen Victoria's eldest son. Never seen one of his post boxes before.

A pleasant 22 miles taking total so far this week to 110 miles. Target reached.
