East Brent Bash 15

After a bitter day yesterday, ventured out as the wind had dropped a bit. Went through Uphill, Bleadon and Eastertown to East Brent returning home via Lympsham. It was still quite cold on the journey back into the NE wind. Saw another Little Egret this morning, quite close to some houses in Bleadon.

East Brent Church

A bit too cold to be taking photographs today so just the one.  This is St Mary's church in East Brean, tucked away in a side road it is a very pleasant spot.  Parts of the building date from 1298 and the tower and spire were added around 1400. It has since been extensively repaired and restored. It is a grade 1 listed building. The church actually  covers the parishes of Lympsham and Brent Knoll as well as East Brent.

Just under 15 miles today. The same tomorrow will complete the 100 for the week.
