12th December 2013 Barford Bash

Busy old day today. The worst bit was going to the dentist to have a filling replaced, the best was finding the time to get down to Barford for a spin. Not a bad day for it, unseasonably warm, not much wind either.

Footbridge M40 4 seasons project

Looking round today for some new locations for the 4 seasons project and settled on a couple. See how these go over the next 12 months.

Barford telephone kiosk

Past this yesterday in the car and spotted the villagers reorganising the display in the disused telephone box near the centre of the village. Came back today to capture it. The windows were all steamed up, but hopefully you can spot the decorated Christmas tree that is on display. Can't be a pantomime in the village hall this year if the theme is only a festive one.

The Green Barn - 4 seasons project

This spot, Wasperton Lane Barford, is a turning round point on the shorter runs out this way. This location seems to have potential so again, see how this works out over the next 12 months.

17 miles by the finish point, but decided to cover another mile at a fairly sedate pace to see if that helps with the recovery process. Used to do this when I was running but never bother now. Should do really.
