6th August 2013 Sherbourne Stroll

A quick blog today. Cancelled my ride with Graham as I was going to Weston Super Mare to see grandkids and was not able to go first thing as planned so took the opportunity for a quick ride around Sherbourne village, just south of Warwick.

The Lych gate

A good old fashioned gate this, leading into Sherbourne Church yard. Unfortunately, the sun was in the wrong position to get a decent shot of the pretty little church which is described on Wikapedia as 'Victorian Gothic'.

Nice weather for a ride today, a bit hasty but another 16 miles clocked up. There were two roads in Warwick that were have resurfacing work done. This caused long queues of cars which I took great delight in overtaking!
