Three cyclist ride out from Leamington. 23

For the first time in ages the Three Cyclists met up at Leamington for a ride out together.  It was a cracking Spring morning, a tad chilly in the breeze but wall to wall sunshine in a clear blue sky.  With myself and Graham recovering from operations we kept the target down to around 20 miles and decided to head out to the Hill Top Cafe on the Fosse Way at Hunningham.  Not too many hills the way we went, out through Cubbington to Offchurch, then along the Hunningham road to Hunningham and the Fosse way where we stopped for tea and tea cakes at the Hill Top Cafe.

The Token.

After the break it was time for the token handing over ceremony.  Mick has had it for a long time and it was his turn to pay today.  It is then handed over to the next in line to pay, Graham.  We did this inside at first but the photos did not come out too well. Leaving the cafe we chatted to a fellow cyclist who kindly took another with us posing behind an ancient horse plough.  Photographic evidence that it is Graham's turn to pay next time.

Just to get the mileage up a bit we took a slightly different way back to Leamington going via Stareton and back into Cubbington that way.  With still a couple of miles to gone did a mini tour of south Leamington.  We were all happy with the mileage today, all in the low 20s.  Good to catch up with the other two.
