Usual jaunt to Burnham. 26

Needed another layer on today. With plenty of sunshine about it was an easy decision to leave off a second layer and the usual windproof top.  That was a mistake as the W, NW wind was chillier than it looked.  It wasn't too bad but enough to make the ride uncomfortable at times.  Old Gits day tomorrow so will need to put that right.  Went out to Burnham on Sea via the usual Bleadon, Mark route and had a cup of tea at the Bay View Cafe on the seafront there.  Most welcome that was.  Back through Brean and over the Uphill nature reserve.  I did stop briefly in Burnham for the local car wash to give the bike a quick spray over.  I did ask how much it would cost but they said no charge.  Bargain.

A nice little 26 mile run round.  At an average of 11 mph, well pleased with that gradual improvement.
