Burnham on Sea Saunter 27

Not a lot to report on today.  A nice day actually, bright and sunny, a tad cold but not too bad at all.  Did the usual route to Burnham via Mark and had a bit of a shock when I got to the sea front at Burnham, my usual cafe was closed for the next week.  Aaaaargh.  Had to use the one at Burnham Pier which does not do toast like the Bay View, and, costs £1 more.  Outrageous.
Startled a Little Egret going towards Mark and it flew about 100 yards and landed next to a grey heron which was standing at the side of the rhyme.  Oh for an easily accessible camera with a telephoto lens.  Are you reading this Santa?

A nice 27 miles today.  Probably won't be any more posts for a week, unfortunately, flying off to Tenerife for 7 days in the morning.  One thing you can guarantee, I will be hunting out the bike hire shops.
Happy Christmas.
