Old Gits to Burnham 23

Back in the saddle with the Old Gits after a two week lay off.  Started of with a foggy morning and was hoping that would burn away to give us the sunshine we had yesterday, but that didn't happen.  A very good turn out today, with two tandems, a fold up bike, two electric bikes and a new member. I think the total, including a couple of guests, was at least twenty. Problem with that size group, it can cause a bit of a nuisance for motorists. (Did I hear 'tough' from the back just then)

Westcroft Farm, Berrow

Of course, after tea and a bacon roll at Weatherspoons in Burnham on Sea (£2.69, with all the coffee you can drink), ambled back through Berrow calling at the egg farm in Red Lane. This has become a bit of a ritual on this route, with good reason though, they are very good eggs.  This is some of the Old Gits cracking a yolk or two before scrambling off on the return (l)egg.  One was heard to say, "Shell we start back now"!

A little bit of a chilly headwind on the way back but all in all, a thoroughly enjoyable rife.  Clocked up over 23 miles.
