20th October 2013 Whitnash Wander

Lisa's big day today doing the Birmingham half marathon. Just been watching it on the TV and they keep talking about all the big hills! Good job we have done the training.  A steady ride today around Whitnash looking for some colour in the trees.

Warwick Castle

I know it has been done before but the light seemed good today.  Also, I have been training the local pigeons to get in the shot. It cost me two pieces of bread but they obliged.

Jayne's shop!

My family like to take pictures of road signs, shops etc with family names in them. For ages we have been looking for one for Jayne, my youngest daughter. Saw this shop in Clemens Street Leamington. Not good enough really, but the nearest we have seen to date. If you know of a Jayne's on a sign, let me know.

Hamilton Terrace

Set in the middle of Leamington, this Avenue of trees is typical of the Victorian influence in the making of the town. There are a few tree lined avenues such as this in the northern part of the town.  A photo of  some changing leaves at last.

A nice easy ride today, just over 15 miles. A long one is planned tomorrow with the ESCC so that felt just right.
