12th August 2013 Kids Kapers

Not much to report today except a little ride out with two of the grandchildren, Tommy and Carmen. It is fortunate that there is a cycle path virtually all the way from my village to the north of Warwick where there is good access to the canal system. Tommy is not too bad at 11yrs, but it is much safer for Carmen who is 7yrs old. We had a fun ride, and they enjoyed picking blackberries along the canal side. A modest 5 miles today, taking just under the hour and it was time far better spent than watching the goggle box.
