Burnham on Sea via Mark 26

A bit of an ordinary day today.  Weather ok, not too windy.  Off to Burnham on Sea for a fairly easy trip.  Half way round I remembered that this is the route the Old Gits will be taking tomorrow.  Never mind, this is one of my favourite trips out.

Happy Family

Seen a few birds on the travels today.  All on the Somerset Levels part of the ride between Lympsham and Mark.  One little egret, a grey heron (neither would stand still for a picture) some redstarts I think, and this family of swans.  Passed these a few times now and in a few weeks the youngsters will be off.  From here it was across the Burnham for the usual tea and toast at the Bay View Cafe and back through Brean and cycle path to Weston.

26 miles today.  Hope the weather stays the same tomorrow for the Old Gits.
