Out with the Old Gits 23

It's Tuesday again, Old Gits day.  Doing the 'reverse' route today, through Sand Bay, Wick St Lawrence to Hewish and the tea stop and back through Puxton and Banwell.  A good turnout today,  17 Old Gits in total including a couple of new members.  The weather was near perfect for cycling, little wind and not too hot with overcast skies.

Tea and cake

And a snooze by the look of it!  Gathered around the table at Caffles at Hewish for the usual refreshments.

Silver Moor Lane

Some of the group tackling the steep incline at the end of Silver Moor Lane.  The last one of the day.

Good ride today.  23 miles covered. A discussion over coffee did take place about managing the group better as 17 riders on some of these country roads can be a bit of a hazard and some drivers don't always take the necessary care required.  To be discussed further!
