A bit showery today. Started in sunshine, a mile later, rained on and it was like that for most of the ride. Did not get very wet though and the bonus was, treated to a few rainbows on the way round. Nice circuit today, flat going out to the little village of Cross on the A38 (boasts Frankie Howard lived there for a number of years) and then a 'lumpy' ride back along part of the southern side of the Mendip hills.
Scarecrow Horse!
Seen outside a farm shop near Lower Weare on the A38. Funny what jumps (get it?) out at you when you think nothing interesting to be seen today. I think this may be the remnants of a hunt the scarecrow competition last year.
That was a different one today. Covered just under 25 miles.
