Tuesday morning, usual route for the Old Gits CC to Banwell, Winscombe, Sanford and Hewish. 15 attended today, not bad for a dull winter's morning. Fairly cold today, fingers and toes were starting to feel the pinch when we arrived at the Caffles Garden Centre for tea and toast. Had a bit of a bonus today, one of the Old Gits paid for the tea in lieu of Christmas cards he never bought and the owners of the garden centre treated us all to a warm mince pie.
'Elf and Safety Inspectorate
Old Git George (Elf and Safety Hons.) looking a tad chuffed when he realised that the warm mince pies had been properly cooked, were of the right dimensions and were free.
Good ride today, covered 24 miles.
