Burnham Bash 32

Been away for a few days so it was good to get back in the saddle today, last ride was nearly a week ago.  The weather forecast was mild with possible showers. It certainly was mild and there were no showers so bargain all round. Went out on one of my usual routes through the Somerset Levels to Burnham on Sea.

Marine Lake

The tide was in when I left so took a slight detour down to the Marine Lake.  The causeway, as you can see was covered by the tide so no walking or cycling across there today.

HRH meets HIM

Spotted this in the window of the Midland Hotel on the sea front. Quite who is having an audience with who is debateable. Both rank very high in social standing. Or is he being knighted?  Sir Santa does have a nice ring to it.  Went on then to do the bulk of the ride stopping at the Bay View Cafe in Burnham for tea and toast.

Covered a fraction under 32 miles today.
