In Leamington today and arranged a meet with some old colleagues for a ride out. Met Graham, Mick and Steve outside the Police HQ in Leek Wootton and retarted a ride we undertook some weeks ago. Could not finish that one, in fact we did less than 1/2 mile when Graham's pedal locked up and returned home to change his bike. Today went well. A great day for cycling, sunny, dry, not much wind and good company. We went out through Beausale to Haseley, over to Hatton Locks for the cafe and back towards Beausale and Kenilworth.
Hatton Top Locks
Not the best of photos but a good memory of the day. Looking up towards the cafe from the car park bridge, the last 3 of the 21 flight of locks can be seen. Note the blue sky. Tea and toasted tea cake at the cafe went down very well indeed.
Totalled just over 30 miles today.
