Old Gits meeting today and the destination this week was Burnham on Sea, a change from our normal route. With the remnants of hurricane Barney heading towards the UK, the forecast is not too brilliant with brisk winds and a forecast of rain later. The turn out of 12 was pretty good considering the forecast and we headed into the wind, and for the Reeds Hotel, on the sea front at Burnham.
Unfortunately, no pictures today. On the return to Weston we split up into 3 groups going in three different directions. The route myself and 3 others took meant the mileage today was 23. The forecast was pretty accurate as well, a quick heavy shower on the way back did not dampen our spirits.
