19th January 2014 Hampton Lucy Loop

Lovely sunny day today, must get out on two wheels. Had an invite to ride out with Mick but I declined. Really needed to get a 'long' one in as Friday, there is an organised long ride with the ESCC.
The plan today is to get to Walton Hall and back.

Charlecote Pheasant

Went out through Warwick and Barford to Charlecote. Whilst I was there, called in at the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel and Restaurant. The idea was to get some information about meals and times as a group of friends are looking for a venue to have an evening meal. The lady behind reception was not terribly helpful giving me a business card, and not much information about the meals offered other than they are a'la carte and served up to 8 o'clock. Not much information on line either.

Carried on through Walton Hall and back past the airfield but never called in the cafe. I did stop for a cup of tea but the queue was too long. Clocked just over 30 today.
