15th January 2014 Honiley Hoot

What a difference a day makes.  Quite balmy out there compared to yesterday. The forecast this afternoon was rain, but as there was blue sky all over the place, decided to risk it. Good choice. A lot of water on the road though from overnight heavy rain.

Woodcote Lane

Just one today, taken just a short distance from my house. This will be part of a the four seasons project in the future.  The route today was out through Beausale, back roads to Chadwick End and back through Honiley. The lack of distance riding is certainly telling. The ESCC were out on a 'club' ride today which I declined. With the lack of mileage and jet lag it would have been unwise to attempt too much. 

Thoroughly enjoyed the 18 miles that was clocked up.
